Position Title: Central Office Secretary
Department: Central Office
Reports To: Superintendent

SUMMARY: Performs advanced-level secretarial duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.- Other duties may be assigned.
Front Desk
- Phone
- Verification of Employement
- Applications-certified, classified, sub packets and rank change (secretary files when completed}
- Collect money and copy license for Youth Leader Request (I give to secretary when completed}
- Visitors
- Responsible for maintenance, readings and supplies for downstairs copier
- Mail Collect, sort and deliver, bulk mailing and esponsible for updates, maintenance and supplies for postage machine.
Sick Leave
- Check, enter and file district sick leave
- Check district sub attendance
- File district time sheets
Check each employee for errors and make new folder with updates for the upcoming year
- Log accounts receicables
- Record jury duty attendance and send notification of jury pay

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to operate a personal computer and related software, ability to develop effective working relationships, ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing and ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
